More London
We definitely have got the hang of the tube and trains. The crying and screaming doesn't even seem to bother anyone. (except for the people who get up and leave). Peter said yesterday are we at Charring Cross yet? We seem to be covering a fair bit of ground or at least we are moving a lot. Yep we made our way through some of the "must do's : Tower of London, Big Ben and the like and have made a few day trips out on the BritRail. Bath was a good outing and was real interesting those Romans..., Rob still figures that there must be some sort or a write off for this trip after investigating the history of hot tubbing from 4500 years ago. We also made it up to Windsor Castle, there were enough swords for Peter. Back to the trains, they have been fun except for the "bloke" that sat across from Livy on the way back from Bath. The fellow was heading to Reading to watch the Liverpool vs Chelsea football match. After about 4 Longbows he was getting pretty enthusiastic about telling about his country and spitting all over Olivia. We figure he was just pretty excited to get the afternoon off. Today Abby,Ruby,Peter and Natalie took the day off from touring and just hung around Catford (where we are staying) with dad. The area is full of activity, Rob likes to go out and see the merchants early in the morning especially the "fruiterer" hollering out "scoop for a pound any scoop for a pound".The rest of the group headed out to Camden Lock ,apparently there were some good lines used up there by the vendors. Em and Sarah came home today from Camden themselves on the tube, Jackie and Olivia stayed and went to the Orangery for tea. We must be starting to get a little taste of London...

London so far
It took us longer then we thought to get over our jet lag and we are still not over it but today we are bit closer. We still have been able to get out and do some things.
Emily and Sarah went to Wicked at the Apollo Theater. They thought it was really good, even better then Rainbow Stage ha ha ha. It was an adventure getting to the theater to say the least. We went to Trafalgar Square, got lost trying to get to Rochester and went to the shopping mall instead. So today we went to church in Central London. We went to the 10 o'clock family mass but Emily wanted to go to the Latin mass. Then we went to the Tower Bridge and had fries, I mean chips, and subs.We seem to know our way around the trains a bit more so we should be able to see a bit more this week. Our flat seems to be suiting us now that we've been in it for a while.
myth buster.......
There really are rats in London yikesssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First day in London!
Well our trip has started! We almost lost one plane ticket five minutes into the trip but the security guard found it. It was a long flight... three hours to Toronto, six and a half hours to London and a two hour drive to our flat.
We are all really tired, hopefully tomorrow we will be ready for some exploring! Rob and Olivia walked around a bit and learned how to cross the crazy streets.
This is a picture of where we are staying and a double decker bus outside our flat. We'll post more pictures soon!
